AS DIRETRIZES CURRICULARES E O CURRÍCULO DE GRADUAÇÃO EM MEDICINA DA UNIVALI: Construindo a Interdisciplinaridade através dos Objetos Fronteiriços e da Epistemologia de Fleck.

Abstract

Starting from the difficulty of integration among different health professionals when they work together in the Programa de Saúde da Família (Family Health Program), and also from the assumption that changes early made in the Medicine graduation course might consolidate the concepts of interdisciplinarity and of multiprofessional action, a case study has been carried out concerning the Medicine Graduation Course of the UNIVALI, aiming at the identification of possible interfaces (Boundary Objects) between the Medicine graduation course and other courses in the health field, considering the course s Pedagogical Project and Teaching Plans, as well as the Curricular Guidelines of the MEC (Ministry of Education). A thematic content analysis of those documents has been carried out, based upon Ludwik Fleck s epistemologic cathegories and Star and Griesemer s Boundary Object concept. After the analysis of official and thecnical documents, the areas of the Curricular Guidelines and of the course s Pedagogical Project that might concretize the interdisciplinarity have been described, and three possibilities have been proposed for the disciplines, considered as Potential, Possible and Concrete Boundary Objects. The 86 disciplines have been classified in such cathegories. The results obtained have been promising and indicate a way to be taken towards the concretization of interdisciplinarity necessary for the effectiveness of the concept of integrality that is the base of the action of the new professional with a generalistic approach, which is important for the consolidation of the strategy of the Family Health Program and of the SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde Unified Health System).
